David and I were so excited to finally be performing our full-program of vocal/piano pieces to a full house at Salle Pianos. We had been rehearsing for four years on music by Bellini, Strauss, and Wolf. Our only setback was when David fractured his foot a week before our concert.  In the end, it all worked out beautifully and we shared the stage to an eager audience who held a sacred space for David and I to express the essence of the painful human experience. Our next project is to perform some pieces by W.A. Allaudin for a concert at Mills College sometime in the following year.
